Cindy Blum, a holistic health practitioner, started her journey because of her own unusual and adverse reactions to Western medications. Her first influence was reading Edgar Cayce’s material about intuition-based healing and using remedies available at most health food stores. Her interest led her to study herbs and homeopathy extensively.
Since the 1980’s, Cindy has worked with thePerelandra Flower Essences, and regularly attends thePerelandraOpen House to hear Machaelle Small Wright speak. She has also taken three levels of training withBach Flower Essences, as well as having attended two International Flower Essence Conferences, one in Findhorn, Scotland and one in Brazil. She has received training in several other types of essences, including the Alaskan Flower Essenceswith Steve Johnson, as well as theAustralian Living Essenceswith Vasudeva Barnao.
Cindy graduated fromBaltimore School of Massagein 1993, continuing her exploration of whole body wellness. In 1994, she studied Chakra balancing with Arlyn Kline, a renowned teacher in energetic bodywork. In recent years, Cindy has assisted Aryln in the teaching of Chakra Energy Balancing. Cindy has integrated her flower essences with energy work, and aromatherapy; exploring the connections and benefits for her clients.
Consultation consists of a client assessment, to determine how a person perceives his or her own needs, followed by an intuitive appraisal using muscle testing and other methods to establish a personalized course of action tailored to the individual to promote health and well-being.
Cindy is currently studying to become certified as a Holistic Counselor through the American Institute of Holistic Wellness.
